Daily doodle

Daily Doodle is a Twitter account that sets a new theme everyday and invites people from all over the world to doodle or sketch their own interpretation and tweet in the results. Quite often the topics in a week are themed, eg Beatrix Potter, Roald Dahl, etc. As part of a concerted effort to get away from the computer screen and to dig out my pencils more often I try to join in whenever I can. My contributions thus far are collected here. These are mostly done with just pencils, pencil crayons, watercolour, etc in the space of around 20-40mins.

Simon took our initial concept to very loose script and created a list of illustrations we needed to make our whiteboard video simply work. He delivered the first few illustrations in sketch form, and we knew he was going to nail it. On budget and on time every step of the way, Simon was not only a genius illustrator but a lovely person to work with. He has a talent for taking the everyday and making it sing. He delighted our audience with his clever and cute characters, and went beyond what we thought was even possible. We'd work with him again in a heartbeat. Jennifer del Greco,
